I am going to tell you a story about how Michael found his true love, Ping !!
Let me start off by saying I am an American from San Francico, California of The United States of America.  I am a lieutenant in The San Francisco Fire Department and have been working for the Fire Department since April 5th, 1982.  Unfortunately things did not work out with my wife then and we were divorced on February 1rst 1994.
       As it relates to me, Michael Paul Kneis and my fiance Yan Ping Xiu; we met and introduced by china-wife.com at July 23rd, 2006. {It was acually a few weeks before but I erased the e-mails.}  I found her to be a very lovely women both in mind and spirit, a truely good woman.  As for me, I had been on local dating service and had not had much with the women I dated.  I never met a women that I thought I would or could build a future together.
      For my dear love Ping, she had suffered many hardships in her life, especially her personal life.  We continued to e-mail everyday and hit it off right away.  I then made plans to visit her in Shenzhen, China on August 10th, 2006.  When I first met Ping, I fell in love with her almost instantly!  She is a very sweet and giving woman.  It was a little difficult the first time we met for we had to use one of her friends, Sally Xu, to translate for us. {Sally speaks English very good.}  We made it through with the language barrier and I found myself loving Ping even more.  It was then that I asked Ping if she would marry me and I was so thrilled when she said yes.
      From that time on I have supported Ping and she is now attending English classes Monday thru Friday from 2:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. with only one hour for dinner. 
      When I returned home on September 10th, 2006, I found myself thinking about my dear Ping and our love for each other.  We set up a web cam through yahoo messenger and began talking to each other every day for at least one hour.  This was besides the e-mail and mobile phone that I would write and talk to her every day as well.  My dear love Ping is a woman I have been looking for 20 years at least! 
       My dear Ping returned to her home town of Xuzhou.  She enrolled in English School and we continue to communicate every day by web cam on yahoo messenger for at least one hour a day.  I could not believe how much her English had improved.  We also continued to e-mail and talk on our mobile phones quite frequently. 
        By November of 2006 I found that I could communicate with Ping without a translater.  On the web cam , I mostly practiced with her on her pronounciation and order of words.  If we would get stuck on something that she or I did not understand, she had a translation machine and we would then understand.
        I missed Ping so much that in December 2006, I made plans to go see my love Ping in January.  The first time in August, I met Ping in Huanggang Port near Hong Kong.  This time however I met my love Ping in Shanghai on January 9th, 2007 and stayed with my dear Ping until January 22nd.  I was truely amazed on how much my dear love Ping's English had improved.  I could actually communicate with her most of the time and did not have to use her friend Sally or the translating machine that much!  We had such fun together and it made me relize how much I loved my dear Ping.
       We visited her friends Sally, Peter, and many more.  They were all very friendly people.  I consider Sally and Peter my closest friends in China.
        As for Ping, I would love to marry her as soon as possible.  I wish she could come to my Son's wedding with me on July 07, 2007.
       We had the greatest engagement party while I was there and had so much fun!               
       I returned from China on January 22nd, 2007.  When I returned home I relized how much Ping and I loved each other.  After returning home I continued to practice English on the web cam on yahoo messenger every night for at least one hour.  It is amazing how much better her English is progressing.  While home though I continued to think about how much love we have for each other.  I found myself thinking about Ping all the time besides talking to her every day.  I missed her so much!  I then decided that I would go and see her again in April.  I arrived in China on April 5th, 2007 and stayed in China until April 20th, 2007.  On all my visits to China we have been many places for I am interested in China's history.  Ping was an angel and took care of me at all times!  We have been to Shenzhen, Shanghai, Nanchang, Hainan, Nanjing, Beijing, and I met her family in Xuzhou.  We hit it off very good and hope they will be my future in-laws.
       As for Ping's friends, they have all been very good to me.  One of her best friends , Sally, I feel very close to because she can speak English and write and translate also.  She is a great person and her boyfriend Peter also helped me getting photos developed amoung many other services like good places to eat ect.  Besides my love Ping, I consider Sally and Peter my closest friends in China.  If you are looking for that someone special and tired of dating that seems to go nowhere, I suggest you contact Sally at her website at: www.china-wife.com.  The people that work in her office are also some of the finest people I met in China.  You will not be disappointed.
